Orange Shirt Day for Students and Educators
Our education staff has carefully crafted our programming to teach students and teachers for Orange Shirt Day, to help them understand the effects of the Residential School system and create a deeper more meaningful connection to the Indigenous roots of Canada.
SURVIVORS GATHERING 2019
On Sunday, September 29th we welcome Residential School Survivors, their families, our surrounding communities, friends, neighbours; and the public at-large for a day of workshops and presentations. The event will culminate in a healing walk from the steps of the former Mohawk Institute to the end of the lane way before returning to the centre for the final roster of workshops and the keynote address
