What is Orange Shirt Day?

Orange Shirt Day is a aday where the entire country comes together, wearing orange, to recognize and acknowledge the history of Residential Schools in Canada. Our goal is to ensure education systems and schools participate in a meaningful experience related to the history and legacy of Residential Schools.

Our education staff has carefully crafted our programming to teach students and teachers, to help them understand the effects of the Residential School system and create a deeper more meaningful connection to the Indigenous roots of Canada.
** VERY LIMITED SPACE so please email tours@woodlandculturalcentre.ca Immediately to secure your spot **
