We’re offering a special Lunch and Learn on June 20 from 12pm-1pm with our Associate Director, Chris Ashkewe. This virtual presentation is part of our Great Canadian Giving Challenge fundraising campaign to raise additional funds needed for support in the operational costs of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School restoration project.
This comprehensive presentation covers topics from the Imperial context, Canada’s Indigenous Policy, the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement, to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
