The Three Sisters Soup is a traditional dish inspired by the "Three Sisters" – corn, beans, and squash. Historically these three crops were often grown together in our agriculture, each supporting the other in a symbiotic relationship: corn provides a stalk for the beans to climb, beans fix nitrogen in the soil for the other plants, and squash spreads along the ground, shading out weeds.![]()

The soup typically combines these three ingredients, along with herbs, spices, and sometimes broth or stock, to create a hearty and flavorful dish. It's both nutritious and symbolic of sustainability and balance in nature. It's a comforting, wholesome dish that can be enjoyed year-round!![]()
