This series is an invitation to reclaim, rename, and reimagine our relationship with our medicine as it was intended by Creator.

Our longstanding oral tradition makes Indigenous people impeccable speakers, there are stories of speakers captivating audiences with words alone. For this reason, these workshops are a lecture and seminar hybrid, designed to mimic traditional storytelling while encouraging participation. Presentations integrate stories, knowledge, experiences, and my PhD research.

Following protocol, each workshop begins and ends according to the host nations’ traditions. Each workshop includes an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share their reflections through a closing round table discussion. In my experience, this discussion can last for hours. However, the limit is set for 1 hour. Altogether, each session is approximately 2 hours. Gifts will be provided to anyone that opens/closes the workshop.
