Woodland Cultural Centre is excited to announce our lineup of Spring Break workshops for youth ages 6+

Looking for a way to engage your kids in Indigenous Education during Spring Break this year, without having to leave your home?

Our education staff invites you and your family to participate in various workshops, crafts, and virtual tours over the Spring Break April 12-16, 2021. The beaded corn cob keychain will be available for youth 13+ to teach them the medicine of beading and also the significance of corn. We will also be offering the pinch pot workshop for the younger children ages 6+. During the week we will have 3 screenings of our virtual tour of the Mohawk Institute Residential School at various times.

Craft kits will be supplied, and spots are limited so register today.

Workshops will be set with a 25 person capacity to ensure our team can assist all participants. If you are looking to book these tours for larger groups outside of this scheduled event please contact tours@woodlandculturalcentre.ca
