This art catalogue showcases art from the exhibition “Images in Stone”, an exhibition in 2005 which celebrated Joe Jacobs’ sculptures. Many of Jacobs’ works of art are composed primarily of steatite (a form of soap stone) and bronze, with many of the pieces depicting Iroquoian legend – the combined effect allows the pieces an extra dimension, as if coming to life.

The black and white photographs showcase the detailed work which sets Joe Jacobs apart as an artist. Joe Jacobs was the recipient of the National Aboriginal Achievement Award for Arts and Culture.
