WCC is excited to offer this 4 part online series on traditional tobacco also known as Oyę’gwaǫ:we or Oien’kwaon:we. This series is developed by Kody Doxtater from Six Nations. **Please note that this series is for Indigenous community members only. Sessions will be held over Zoom. It is my personal response to the failures of Health Canada to produce effective Indigenous tobacco control strategies or reduce rates of tobacco use among Indigenous populations. This is the foundation for developing my own Indigenous Health Strategy that I hope will be adopted nation wide.”
