Woodland Cultural Centre staff regret to announce that the WCC Museum will be closed to the public from Monday, August 28-Friday, September 15, 2023.
As part of the restoration project currently underway on the former Mohawk Institute Residential School, we will be doing cement work on the walkways around the Museum building entrances. This will allow limited access to the building for visitors and staff.
During this time period, we will be closing public access to the building and cancelling any public events. If you have any private bookings already scheduled during this time, those bookings will be honoured. We want any visitors to be aware that alternative entrances will have to be offered and they may cause accessibility issues to some visitors (loose gravel).
Thursday August 31 – Language Bingo
Thursday September 7 – Screening of Silent No More
