Exhibition Description:
Indigenous people have called North America home.
Our Creation Story informs us that early beings began new life on the back of a turtle: hence we refer to our land base as Turtle Island. Onkwehon:we Matters will feature relevant cultural material unearthed by archaeologists from within Ontario with a particular emphasis focused on the Grand River as home to the largest Haudenosaunee population in Canada
