Woodland Cultural Centre invites you to join us for a screening of the emotional short film Her Water Drum, written and directed by Jonathan Elliott. Following the film will be an Artist Talk with the director himself, Jonathan Elliott.
Her Water Drum deals with the topic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in Canada, highlighting the impact it has on individual families and their communities. It aims to raise awareness of this issue and present a call to action to prevent further Indigenous Women and girls being lost.
