Join Curator of Woodland Cultural Centre, Patricia Deadman and guests Heather George and Amos Key Jr. to discuss the history of Woodland, the art and the contemporary.

This discussion will reflect on the research, artifacts and development of its library and museum collections done by Woodlands for the past 50 years. In 1975, the museum expanded their collection to include the trailblazing artists of that time. With over 50,000 artifacts in our museum collection, the Centre is one of the largest facilities in Canada managed and administered by First Nations. We will share the stories and strategies used to preserve Indigenous language, culture, art and history; bringing the story of the Hodinohsho:ni people of the Eastern Woodlands to life through innovative exhibitions and programs.
