As always the Woodland Cultural Centre Craft Fair is on the first Saturday in November – November 4, 2017 – from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. With an estimated 30 Haudenosaunee and Anishnaabe vendors expected, items for sale will include black ash baskets, corn husk dolls, silver jewelry, moccasins, beaded fancies, and many other finely crafted wares unique to this area. Admission is by donation to the museum – those who donate are eligible to enter our hourly door prize draws!
Vendors will be in the Orientation Room and the Museum Meeting Room – big, bright spaces; for those interested in a dining experience, traditional and contemporary treats will be available on-site; and as always, parking at the craft fair is ample and free!
The Holiday season is right around the corner, so plan to attend the Christmas Craft Fair and start checking names of your shopping list.
