On Sunday, September 29th we welcome Residential School Survivors, their families, our surrounding communities, friends, neighbours; and the public at-large for a day of workshops and presentations. The event will culminate in a healing walk from the steps of the former Mohawk Institute to the end of the lane way before returning to the centre for the final roster of workshops and the keynote address

Join the Woodland Cultural Centre to Honour Orange Shirt Day on September 30th! Come together with us to remember and honour the history and resilience of Indigenous peoples at the Woodland Cultural Centre, a First Nations-run educational and cultural Centre located on the grounds of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School.
